ABOUT THE HALL ANCHOR
The Hall Anchor, also known as Hall's Stockless Anchor is one of it's kind. It was first developed in 1886 and has been further improved by the years, it is one of the oldest stockless anchors for ships.
It is still one of the most popular ship anchors nowadays, it's simple design allows it to work with most types of ships, and on most standard anchor pockets.
At the same time, this simple design allows for simpler and faster fabrication.

Hall Anchors, being some of the first conventional stockless anchors, are not fully balanced.
This highlights the importance to supervise the correct introduction inside the anchor pocket.

MATERIAL QUALITY CONTROL
The Hall Anchor is typically made of the same steel used on regular Spek anchors, which is GS200 cast steel. This type of steel besides being easy to work with, it offers positive weldability properties, allowing faster production, and if necessary simpler reparations:

The Hall Anchor is produced at several different sizes, starting at just 10 kgs and up to 75 kgs the smallest sizes. These are followed by the medium sizes (100 to 900 kgs) and the large sizes (1020 up to 9900). There are even larger sizes of the Hall anchor for it's largest applications, ranging between 10500 and 16100 kgs of weight.
